The Legend of Tornado Wood

Did you know, if a home is adorned with wood from a Tornado damaged tree, the home will be spared from the path of any tornadoes?

Legend has it that a home built in the early 1840s in a little community, called Myrtle Station, in Ontario, Canada was spared from a tornado on May 21, 2022 because there was lumber used from past tornado ravaged trees!  When that fateful storm hit in May, trees were downed all around the home, other homes and buildings were damaged.  But not that 1840s farmhouse!

And through the famous tornado alley in the United States, including Kansas, Texas, Oklahoma, South Dakota and Nebraska, the legend says that homes that are spared damage include wood from tornado damaged trees!
